Terms & Conditions – ZapGaadi

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.zapgaadi.com and the services provided by ZAPGAADI PRIVATE LIMITED (“ZapGaadi”, “Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”).

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

• The renter must be at least 24 years old
• Must hold a valid Driving License (DL)
• Must provide a valid Government ID proof
• ZapGaadi reserves the right to deny service without providing a reason

3. Booking & Payment

• Booking is confirmed only after payment is received
• We accept UPI, cards, net banking, and cash
• Prices displayed are subject to availability and change
• A security deposit is required at the time of booking

4. Security Deposit

• Deposit ranges from ₹2,000 to ₹10,000 depending on the vehicle
• Refund will be processed within 24 hours after inspection
• Deductions may apply for:
  • Damages
  • Late return
  • Policy violations

5. Vehicle Usage Policy

• The vehicle must be used only for personal use
• The renter must not:
  • Drive under the influence of alcohol/drugs
  • Use the vehicle for illegal activities
  • Sublet or transfer the vehicle
• Only the authorised driver is allowed to drive

6. Fuel Policy

• Fuel is not included in the rental
• Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level
• Fuel difference will be charged accordingly

7. Rental Duration & Late Charges

• Rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis
• Late returns:
  • Up to 6 hours → charged hourly
  • Beyond 6 hours → full-day charge
• Unauthorised extension may result in a penalty of up to ₹2,000

8. Kilometre Limit

• Daily limit: 250 km/day
• Extra charges: ₹10–₹15 per km depending on vehicle

9. Travel Restrictions

Allowed regions:

• Assam
• Meghalaya
• Nagaland
• Mizoram
• Tripura

Restricted usage:

• International borders
• Protected forests
• Off-road/riverbed driving

Travel outside allowed regions requires prior approval.

10. Damage & Accident Policy

• Inform ZapGaadi immediately in case of an accident
• Do not move the vehicle unless advised
• Share photos/videos and file a police report if required
• Customer is liable if damage is caused due to:
  • Negligence
  • Policy violations

ZapGaadi reserves the right to charge for:

• Repairs
• Insurance excess
• Downtime beyond 24 hours

11. Breakdown Assistance

• 24×7 support available
• Replacement vehicle is subject to:
  • Availability
  • Distance from Guwahati
• Additional delivery charges may apply

12. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• ₹1,000 booking advance is:
  • Refundable if cancelled before 72 hours
  • Non-refundable for last-minute cancellations
• Rescheduling:
  • Allowed before 48 hours
• Extension:
  • Must be requested before 6 hours of return time

13. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain vehicle condition
• Follow traffic laws
• Pay all penalties, challans, and fines

14. Data & Privacy

• By using our services, you agree to our Privacy Policy
• We may collect and use your data for service and security purposes

15. Limitation of Liability

ZapGaadi shall not be held liable for:

• Indirect or incidental damages
• Loss of belongings inside the vehicle
• Delays due to external factors (weather, traffic, etc.)

16. Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Cancel bookings
• Terminate services
• Take legal action

If any misuse or violation is detected.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Jurisdiction shall lie in the Guwahati, Assam courts.
